Did Someone Say January? Sounds like the former Ebro in the Morning Listeners on Hot 97 Have Chosen The Breakfast Club for Their Morning Commute
“The Breakfast Club” just hit a huge moment where it all started — the New York City Tri-State area. During the January ratings survey, the show climbed to the top of the charts in its home market, finishing No. 1 on “Power 105.1” WWPR among Adults 18–49 and Adults 25–54 with shares of 13.9 and 13.1. According to iHeartMedia, those numbers mark the strongest ratings the show has ever posted in the city.
That kind of run doesn’t happen overnight. Since launching on Power 105.1 back in 2010, “The Breakfast Club” has grown from a local morning show into one of the biggest syndicated radio brands in the country through Premiere Networks. With DJ Envy, Jess Hilarious and Charlamagne Tha God at the mic, the show now reaches more than 6.6 million listeners nationwide.
Over the years, the show hasn’t just stayed on the radio dial — it’s spread across pretty much every platform where the culture lives. The brand now stretches into podcasts, streaming, social media and digital video. The podcast alone has passed one billion downloads, while interviews and viral moments from the show continue to circulate online and spark conversation.
That expansion took another step this year when the show brought its video presence to Netflix. Starting in January 2026, the platform began offering exclusive full-episode video streams, adding a new home for fans who want to watch the full conversations play out.
For DJ Envy, the moment is about the people who kept tuning in all these years. He thanked listeners and the team behind the show, saying their support is what keeps everything moving. Charlamagne Tha God echoed that sentiment, pointing to the loyalty of the audience — the people who choose to keep up with the show whether it’s on radio, podcasts, social media, YouTube, or now Netflix.
“The Breakfast Club continues to set the standard for what a truly multiplatform powerhouse looks like,” said Executive Vice President of Programming at iHeartMedia Thea Mitchem. “These record-setting ratings are a direct reflection of the team’s talent, consistency and cultural impact.”
