CoCo Jones’ album was made available to The Breakfast Club the same morning of the interview which doesn’t allow them time enough to listen to it. The interviews on The Breakfast Club are recorded the day before they are actually heard on the show by the audience. Let’s say the actual interview with Jones was recorded at 10am… The person at Def Jam probably thought there was no problem with making it available to TBC at 7:45. Somebody dropped the ball. (Why did Def Jam do this? Is it simply because R&B artists will never sell like Hip Hop?)
