Merlin Media dropped its “all news” presentation earlier this month and switched to a new alternative rock format on its main FM signal. The sound quality might be amazing but where is the content to drive audiences to HD radio? When radio stations can provide interesting and compelling content on their HD2 and HD3 channels then maybe we’ll listen. Toyota Will Offer HD Radio in 2012 Camry

From RADIO WORLD Is this the breakthrough that HD Radio needs or will it be an option consumers would rather skip and not pay for? Toyota said it will offer HD Radio technology with iTunes Tagging in the 2012 Camry model. The new vehicle will arrive at dealerships in October.
