Miss Jones vs. Ebro at Hot 97: Did He Steal Jonesy’s Show?

“They starting to hit us with the “let’s save it for Patreon” already šŸ˜‚” -YouTube comment

Exactly our sentiments. Ebro, Laura, Rosenberg barely touched on the growing tension that Miss Jones is creating with Ebro Darden. Miss Jones recently commented that Ebro stole the morning show from her at Hot 97. Meanwhile we do recall that at one time or another Sway and Joe Budden had brief stints as morning hosts after Jonesy departed the station. Also before “Ebro in the Morning” took over about 13 years ago there was Cipha Sounds, Rosenberg, and K Foxx hosting the morning show as well. In response to Ebro being let go at Hot 97 and the way he was dismissed; Jonesy said in January that it was karma.

Ebro briefly stated that Jonesy was “click farming.” – they are going to save the rest of their commentary for Patreon

In the meanwhile since both of their exits from New York City morning radio in late December, The Ebro Laura Rosenberg podcast has garnered over 50,000 subscribers. Their mostly live 8:00am podcast generally averages 20-25,000 daily views.

Meanwhile, the Miss Jones Presents PINK CHAMPS channel has almost 11,000 subscribers with her daily show averaging about 1,000 views per day. She started out in January doing a daily show live at 7:00am. However it appears that is no longer the case.

We can safely say that the Ebro audience and listeners from his radio show have found it much more easier to navigate and transition to their YouTube channel than the demo that listened to Miss Jones on the radio.

Make no mistake, Jonesy has her fans as well:
