Dame Dash’s most recent appearance on The Breakfast Club featured heated and confrontational exchanges with hosts Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, marked by personal insults, debates about masculinity, and t h r e a t s. Let’s take a look back at Dash’s infamous appearance on the show from ten years ago. Sad thing is that many people followed his advice and thought having a job, working for someone, was a bag thing.
Much hasn’t change except for now Jess Hilarious and Loren Lorosa are co-hosting the show. But as before, Dame Dash repeatedly challenged Charlamagne Tha God by attacking his masculinity, suggesting he does not properly represent the masculine Black man and accusing him of having g a y tendencies. Discussion quickly escalated into Dame making t h r e a t s against Charlamagne. Charlamagne clapped back by teasing Dame Dash about his financial troubles, especially recent bankruptcy filings, while DJ Envy joined in referencing past disputes over money and business ownership. Eventually they get around to talking about Dash’s teeth.
In the midst of this interview, Dame Dash announced his interim chairman role at REVOLT TV, which he claimed could lead to an acquisition, though reports about the legitimacy of this position were skeptical at best.
