The Star and Buc Wild Morning Show Gets Chopped from 100.3 The Beat

In a still developing story… The Star and Buc Wild Show Morning crew have been let go from 100.3 The Beat WPHI Philadelphia. All references to “The Star and Buc Wild Morning Show” have been removed from the station’s website. Program director Boogie D filled in on the air this morning.

“Star” Troi Torain, “Buc Wild” Timothy Joseph, and “White Trash” Helene (Sola) joined the station in November of 2010. Before they were brought in, 100.3 The Beat featured a music intensive morning show for almost a year, following the firing of current Power 105.1 morning host Charlamagne Tha God in 2009.
Their tweet to the listeners:
THANK YOU to the Philly listeners and the awesome Radio One staff!! Its now time for my handsome face to be on television.
Is the station’s owner Radio One now poised to bring in “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show”?

Best morning show on radio. i wonder what happened this time I listened from NYC every morning thanks to the 100.3 The Beat app and the internet stream. Program Directors are tripping! His satire isn't for everyone.KC Brooklyn, New York

There's app called TuneIn Radio that works exactly like a DVR for radio….one the whole reasons I copped the app was Star & Buc (and Stephen A. Smith when he was still on Fox). Missed both since they left NYC but, with TuneIn Radio I just scheduled the app to record the shows every weekday. I thought the S&BW show was a bit toned down in the Philly market…guess Radio One didn't see fit to re-up on the contract….probably didn't see the expected numbers in that market. Let's be real…thier brand of talk is best suited for NYC. I hope Star and camp resurface here like Stephen A. has (with the app, I get to listen to SAS's LA show as well…love it!).

The Star and Buc Wild morning show was waaaaaaaaaaaay, I mean like waayyyyy too tuned down…they have to let Star be himself (yes to a degree)but that's what I loved and everyone else…it was boring and too much damn songs…I was waiting for him to start chopping songs again…I hope they resurface in NYC…I want to ole HATER back…

Wow this show was real and being from Philly I was happy that they were here live, I remember them being syndicated on power 99 the first time in Philly I became an avid listener. With all the trash talk Star does, the truth of the matter is he really is an intelligent dude. But Real talk, I've always said that S&BW show needs to be on sattlelite radio where there is a lot more freedom, I hope that happens!!

How do you abruptly end a radio campaign…Televised no less, which could save Philly from it's current number of murders in the Hip Hop/"Black Community".Wow…and for Tom Joyner…REALLY? I have listened to him before he does not have the moxie or courage to have pulled off a "start snitching" campaign. Star on the other hand could. Granted it would have meant 24 hour bodyguards and bulletproof automobiles and vests for everyone involved with the show…But in an effort to get rid of the gangsta rap NegroRican Slime that exists on the air and television I am down for that FULL ON!! Where is my vest? I Got to go out tonight and play Lakim Shabazz and King Sun records. Now whilst thy neighbors fall victim to fatal head or chest wounds you can at least listen to Radio One's Extremely BLAND, Very Well To Do Negro's Sitting On The Fence broadcasters who will do NOTHING to stem the tide of death. Oh they'll will make a lot of fabulous NegroRican parties that we can see pictures of in all the well to do NegroRican papers and magazines. BUT REAL ACTION LIKE A "START SNITCHING" campaign….IT IS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. Good Old Tom might miss his chance to interview one the "Hot" Genocide Peddling RAPPER OR COMIC OR EVEN WORSE ANOTHER PLASTIC NEGRO ACTOR OR ACTRESS. Philly Radio Looks Like A JOKE WHO'S PUNCHLINE IS MORE KILLINGS IN PHILLY. GREAT JOB RADIO ONE HERE'S HOPING YOU FAIL MISERABLY!! YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE TO BE LEADERS AND YOU BLEW IT.
