Lil Mo is out as afternoon host at CBS Radio’s 95.5 WPGC in Washington, D.C. She is looking to return to her music career and drops a new album “P.S. I Love, Me” this summer. Her first single from the album is “On The Floor.”
Lil’ Mo also just wrapped up the church soloist part in the touring cast of the Broadway musical ‘The Color Purple.’ The production ended with an Easter engagement at the National Theatre in the Nation’s Capital.
This move marks another change in the on-air line-up at WPGC in recent months. Rumors continue to swirl revolving the format at the station about whether it will remain urban contemporary or change to rhythmic contemporary. No replacement has been named yet. Former 100.3 The Beat in Philly on-air personality and D.C. native, Laiya St. Clair is filling in.
