DJ’s wife says he sent threatening texts, pushed her, and smashed her phone.
Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex (Aston George Taylor Jr.) was arrested earlier today in New York after a woman reported to police that the popular DJ shoved her, attempted to break her cell phone and also threatened her.
Police said that a 40-year-old woman told them that Flex assaulted her, but was gone by the time they arrived at a residence in Westchester, New York this morning.
Flex was charged with harassment, aggravated harassment and criminal mischief, reports TMZ. The DJ has been released on $500 bail, must stay away from the unnamed woman and has a court date pending.
