Majic 102.3 brings aboard John Monds to take over the afternoon slot in the revamped format at the station. A veteran radio personality, his last major market stop was at Radio One’s former Los Angeles station V100.
Monds has also had long runs in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Area listeners will remember him as the morning man at 96.3 WHUR prior to Tony Richards hosting “The Real D.C. Morning Show”. Monds exited the PD and afternoon drive position at Magic (formerly Mix) 106.1, WRRX Pensacola in June.
