Jacque Reid will be a special guest host on ‘The View’ on July 21. “I am looking forward to returning to ‘The View’ to guest host. I always enjoy the opportunity to be on that show,” Reid told BV Buzz.
Reid was considered one of the front-runners for Star Jones’ vacant seat on the ABC talk show back in 2007. The coveted job was ultimately given to comedienne Sherri Shepherd.
A former news anchor for both CNN and BET, Reid currently works as a co-host on the ‘D.L. Hughley Morning Show’ on 98.7 Kiss FM (WRKS) in New York City. She can also be heard on the nationally syndicated ‘Tom Joyner Morning Show,’ where twice a week, she offers female-driven commentaries called ‘Inside Her Story.’
Earlier this year, the multimedia journalist starred on VH1’s ‘Let’s Talk About Pep,’ where she made headlines for confessing she had never had an orgasm.
