Howard University Radio 96.3 WHUR Operations Manager and Program Director Dave Dickerson has exited the station. Dickerson has been in the programming chair during some of the station’s highest ratings in the 2000’s, which saw a return to the number one ranked spot in D.C. WHUR also launched one of the best HD2 radio station in country, WHUR World.
However, also under his tenure, the station added the syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show and the Michael Baisden afternoon program, which were unpopular choices at the time with many listeners. No word on his replacement at the station that “Sounds like Washington.”
