Radio One mainstream urban Z107.9 (WENZ) has swapped syndicated morning shows. The Rickey Smiley Morning Show has replaced The Russ Parr Morning Show.
Rickey Smiley and Russ Parr are both syndicated through Radio One’s syndication company, Syndication One. The Russ Parr Morning Show aired for nine years on Z107.9.
Station PD Colby Colb says about Smiley, “He’s going to bring a new and exciting energy to the radio station and the city of Cleveland.”
Meanwhile Smiley says, “Make no mistake. Russ Parr is the mentor…Russ
taught and is still teaching me this game.”
Now it looks like the next big thing in Cleveland is to prevent this from happening…
