More than four years after WPWX-FM 92.3’s plan to hire then-WGCI-FM 107.5 afternoon star Sam Sylk blew up, Power 92 is getting its man.
Crawford Broadcasting announced Sylk will be WPWX’s new afternoon drive host, effective Monday. He replaces Donnie Devoe, whose exit was announced to staff on June 29th.
“I am so excited to join my new radio family,” Sylk said in a statement. “Power 92 is a station that’s dedicated to giving Chicago real radio for Chicago. I can’t wait to be a part of this all-star line up.” Read more
