It’s not urban V103 (WVEE) or News/Talk radio 750 WSB. It’s Cox Radio’s Kiss 104.1 (WALR). Kiss 104.1 led the way with a 8.5 rating with V-103 with a 7.6 and WSB with a 8.2. This is the first time since Spring 1999 that a station other than WSB-AM or V103 has been #1 in Atlanta. Radio One’s Praise 97.5 WPZE finished in the top 10 at # 8.
Radio One’s Houston area Urban AC station “Majic 102.1” KMJQ continues to hold on to the #1 position with a 7.0. That’s the highest share any station scored during the whole year of 2008.
Both stations feature Tom Joyner as morning host.
