> CBS Radio has pulled the plug on the “inspirational” talk format on WPGC-AM (1580) Washington, DC. CBS Radio has replaced it with a simulcast of WPGC 95.5 (It’s sister FM station). Earlier this year CBS decided to cancel “Heaven 1580” the gospel music format following the rise in the ratings of “Praise 104.1” FM (WPRS) that was launched by Radio One in April of 2007.
