> A “Hot 106.1” (KNEX- Laredo, Texas) van was stolen by a 42-year-old woman. She was able to gain entry, steal it, and eventually lead law enforcement officers on a high-speed chase that resulted in her death. The theft happened while members of the promotional team were working a fundraiser for a local children’s hospital, inside a Chili’s restaurant. When they came out, the van was gone, and the story of the woman’s death became the lead item on the local TV news. See video>>
