Vancouver’s CFOX-FM (99.3) morning show wanted to prove the point of how easy it would be to buy drugs at a notorious street corner location. They sent morning team member Captain Scotty, dressed in a beaver costume and carrying a sign advertising he wanted to buy heroin. The Globe and Mail newspaper says within minutes, he was able to purchase heroin, and the entire stunt, including the drug purchase was aired live. However, also listening to the show were two Vancouver police officers who drove there and placed the beaver-costumed Captain Scotty in handcuffs, but he wasn’t arrested. Read more>>
