Usually online streaming broadcasts lack production quality and value that makes listening to terrestrial radio a far better choice. That is not the case here. Janet G is the Midday Host at Old School 94.5

Radio One Dallas has hired veteran on-air personality Janet G as the midday host and first local personality at “Old School 94.5.” She has worked in the Detroit, New Orleans, and Houston markets. The station was known as “K-Soul” until last July when they dropped current R&B music in favor of R&B music from the 70’s and 80’s. In the process the station also shutdown the Michael Baisden show as well. The station also showed on-air host Dee Dee “Spinderella” Roper the door as well, but that was back in March. The New Format at KSoul 94.5 is reportedly going to be "Old School"

The Radioinsight.com website speculates that the new station and format at the former KSoul in Dallas/Ft. Worth will be called “94.5 Old School.” The change will happen on Friday, July 29 at 5:00pm according to on-air promos. No word if the vacationing Michael Baisden will return to the station line-up. The show has been in “The Best of…” mode the last two weeks across the nation. So what is 94.5’s definition of “Old School”??? Hip-Hop, Oldies, or R&B. You’ll find out Friday. For decades, since the late 1960s, he was better known by his other name: Cuzzin’ Linnie, or Cousin Linnie to the uninitiated.
