The confrontation between Stephen A. Smith and Lebron James was captured by fans during the break between the third and fourth quarters as James broke huddle and approached Smith. The social media post went viral immediately. Smith said he had “no intention” of discussing the matter, on First Take and his own podcast. The song "Anxiety" was released on Tuesday, which will undoubtedly launched Doechii into a new pop fanbase. It was recorded in 2019 in her bedroom for her self-released mixtape Coven Music Tapes, but was not included. In an interview with People Doechii said, "People are finding the original version that I did on YouTube, and that's blowing up on TikTok. And now people want me to release the full version and we're here". The song sampled the 2011 song "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye featuring Kimbra.

Stephen A. Smith has agreed to a new contract with ESPN worth at least $100 million. “I’m happy and honored to remain a member of the Disney/ESPN family for, at least, the next five years,” Smith said. “There’s only bigger and bigger things ahead.
