iHeartMedia and TikTok today announced the launch of TikTok Radio from iHeart, a new station blending today’s biggest music hits with the creators, trends and cultural moments shaping what’s next on TikTok. Debuting March 13 during SXSW, the station will stream on the free iHeartRadio app and broadcast across 28 U.S. radio stations in major markets including New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville and Miami.
Designed to feel like an audio version of TikTok’s “For You” feed, TikTok Radio combines iHeart’s programming expertise with TikTok’s discovery engine. The station will feature the hottest music alongside real-time conversation about the creators, viral trends and stories driving them. Signature segments include Behind-the-Charts, a countdown of TikTok’s biggest songs of the week; Hacks on the :20s, hourly trending life tips; Hot Takes on pop culture and lifestyle topics; New Music Fridays highlighting new releases; and On the Verge, spotlighting emerging artists.
TikTok Radio will launch live from the iHeartPodcasts Hotel at SXSW in Austin, beginning at 9 p.m. CT on March 13 with interviews, surprise moments and appearances from popular TikTok creators throughout the weekend. The station will feature a lineup of iHeart personalities across the day, including Ashlee Young, Jon Comouche, Becky Mits and Angelina Narvaez, with content from SXSW shared across iHeart, creator channels and brand partners.
The announcement also introduces the first wave of shows in the TikTok Podcast Network, launching in the coming months. The slate includes Suite 305 with Lele Pons, Caroline’s Closet with Caroline Vazzana, Sports Slice with Tim Martin, The Clifford Show with Clifford Taylor IV and The Set List with Carter Gregory. The network launches with GEICO as its exclusive launch partner and reflects TikTok and iHeart’s broader effort to expand opportunities for creators across radio, podcasts and live experiences while giving fans new ways to discover and engage with the voices shaping culture.
A rotating lineup of iHeart personalities will host the station throughout the day, including Kayla Thomas (KIIS FM Los Angeles), Ashlee Young (Houston), Jon Comouche (MYfm Los Angeles), Becky Mits (San Diego) and Angelina Narvaez (San Francisco).
