> Malikha Mallette is named the new afternoon host on Power 105.1 (WWPR) New York replacing Steph Lova. Mallette joined Power 105.1 five years ago as a part-timer and previous stops include weekends on CBS Radio urban stations WVEE (V-103)/Atlanta, middays on the now-defunct WXYV (X-105.7)/Baltimore and weekends on WPGC-FM/Washington. She has voiced national spots for companies like McDonald’s, Pantene, Cover Girl, Hot Pockets, Downy, Jergens, Verizon and Burger King and has worked as an actress on ABC’s “One Life to Live” and in Sony BMG’s forthcoming feature film, “Cadillac Records.”
