Comedienne Ms. Pat visited the Breakfast Club to discuss among other things her firing along with Shamea Morton from The Big Tigger Morning Show on V-103 (WVEE) Atlanta. She said she had no idea that they were going to get fired. On the show she stated, "He’s ‘The Biggest D*mn Hater.’ Check out the segment above.
As reported by various outlets, Ms. Pat said it was Big Tigger that fired her from the show. That's not exactly the case. He definitely had creative control over the show, but it's ultimately management's decision on firings at the station. Would Big Tigger have a problem with Ms. Pat taking a week off from the show to promote her own TV show on BET? Probably. Did management at V-103, which is owned by Audacy, have a problem with her week-long appearance on The Breakfast Club? Yes.
Ms. Pat's appearance on The Breakfast Club from a management perspective goes well beyond just an interview. She essentially became a part of the show. Ms. Pat said V-103 management showed her The Rumor Report segment she did.
At the time The Breakfast Club was looking for a third host. It appeared to be a true audition for The Breakfast Club to add Ms. Pat. Check out some of her segments from the show below. Now as far as Shamea Morton, there's been no comment from her on the subject. Life appears to be good.
