Mia Thornton and radio host Incognito are no longer following one another on Instagram as reported by The Jasmine Brand and posted: "she linked up with her estranged husband, Gordon, and vowed to embrace some “new beginnings.”  The Shade Room reports RHOP star Mia Thornton has confirmed her split from boyfriend Incognito, who hosts afternoons on Hot 107.9 in Atlanta and is syndicated at night in other markets for Reach Media/Radio One.

Following Howard Eskin's unexpected departure from Sportsradio 94 WIP last week, the station has named Devan Kaney as his replacement for sideline reporting duties during Philadelphia Eagles radio broadcasts. Kaney will continue her morning show appearances at WIP. Eskin, who had been at the station for 38 years, was let go after both a celebratory and outstanding yet controversial run as a top rated sports talk show personality.

Ryan Cameron, afternoon host on Majic 107.5/97.5 Atlanta grabs the coveted position as the voice of the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport's plane train.

Longtime CBS Sports broadcaster Greg Gumbel has died from cancer at 78. Gumbel served as a play-by-play announcer and studio host for CBS Sports, and previously spent several years on air for NBC Sports. Despite the fact that Amanda Seales announced over two weeks ago that she was fired from her radio show, her show is still airing. Companies usually scrub a fired employee from their website and from the airwaves. The show is now featuring previous segments from earlier this month. (How long will they do this?) Waiting for the announcement on the new direction Radio One and Reach Media will be going in 2025? Looks like it will be a little bit longer. 

Parsons, a trailblazing Black business leader known for rescuing struggling corporations like Time Warner, Citigroup, and CBS, died on Dec. 26 at his Manhattan home. In 2014 he stepped in as interim CEO of the NBA's LA Clippers until Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer took over following the disastrous tenure of Donald Sterling. Dick Parsons cleaned up the disastrous merger of AOL and Time Warner after the dot-com bust at the turn of the century.

National radio and TV host, best-selling author, and SC native Charlagmane Tha God is joining Krystal Restaurants to open several locations in the Palmetto State. Through a five-store partnership in South Carolina, Charlamagne and his wife are playing a key role in launching and promoting multiple new Krystal stores across the state. 

 Amanda Seales has been fired from her radio show on Radio One stations and Reach Media. However this announcement hasn't officially come from the corporation Urban One. She is still on the air in mornings and middays on Radio One Adult R&B stations. 

DeSean Jackson is finalizing an agreement to become Delaware State's next head coach. Jackson would be coaching in the MEAC—the same conference as former Eagles teammate Michael Vick's Norfolk State. Amazon is hiring Taylor Rooks as the lead host of their NBA pregame show setto launch in the 2025-26 season. NBA on Prime announcers will be: A-team will feature Ian Eagle and Grant Hill; B-team: Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller - Studio hosts will see Rooks joined by Dirk Nowitzki, Blake Griffin and Stan Van Gundy.
