USC’s Saturday night prime time 72-70 win over UConn averaged 2.23 MILLION viewers on Fox. It was the most-watched Women's College Basketball game on any network this season. The star power of JuJu Watkins and Paige Bueckers along with the lead in NFL on Fox game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, led to a peak viewership of 3.76 million viewers from 8 to 8:15 PM ET.

Deion Sanders has secured injury insurance policies for his Colorado Buffaloes players that are expected to be drafted to the NFL before the team's appearance in the Alamo Bowl against BYU. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter might have biggest injury insurance in CFB history according to Coach Prime. Sanders is projected to go No. 1 overall to the New York Giants and Hunter No. 2 overall to the New England Patriots.

National sports show host JR SportBrief has signed a contract extension with Infinity Sports Network (formerly known as CBS Sports Radio). He will add a weekly show on 92.9 The Game (Atlanta) in February. JR interests in radio and media was undoubtedly inspired by his uncle, the late Fatman Scoop. Google, Morgan State University School of Journalism have partnered with JRSportBrief Productions to advance sports coverage and news reporting through AI.

As one post suggests on social media: "If Travis Hunter’s girlfriend had just stood up and clapped for him on her own during his trophy presentation, instead of Deion Sanders having to tap her shoulder and make her stand up, then nobody would be digging through her closet to find these skeletons." Hunter has now deleted his IG page after pictures surface of her twerking with another guy.

Trending on social media are new pictures of Wendy Williams attending her son's graduation from FIU. Loren Lorosa of The Breakfast Club says "My source tells me that Wendy’s family is alleging that her current guardianship is trying to make Wendy look incapacitated for the sake of continuing the lawsuit against lifetime".

Amanda Seales has been fired from her radio show on Radio One stations and Reach Media. However this announcement hasn't officially come from the corporation Urban One. She is still on the air.

Kesha Monk, a sought after industry voiceover artist (the voice of the BET Awards) and former radio personality in LA, New York, and Chicago reveals that during a career defining assignment as the voice of The Kennedy Honors on CBS, her mother passed away. Condolences to Kesha and her family.

Amazon is hiring Taylor Rooks as the lead host of their NBA pregame show setto launch in the 2025-26 season. NBA on Prime announcers will be: A-team will feature Ian Eagle and Grant Hill; B-team: Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller - Studio hosts will see Rooks joined by Dirk Nowitzki, Blake Griffin and Stan Van Gundy.

NBC Sports Philly, Big Ten Network, Good Day Sacramento were among some of her previous stops. She is married to CBS News Philadelphia sports anchor Don Bell and says it's time to return home (She's a native of the Phila./South Jersey area).
