The song "Anxiety" was released on Tuesday, which will undoubtedly launched Doechii into a new pop fanbase. It was recorded in 2019 in her bedroom for her self-released mixtape Coven Music Tapes, but was not included. In an interview with People Doechii said, "People are finding the original version that I did on YouTube, and that's blowing up on TikTok. And now people want me to release the full version and we're here". The song sampled the 2011 song "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye featuring Kimbra.
