At some point Jayden Daniels' mother was seen sitting between them. (That is the photo that went viral.) Some people thought this was her way of stopping any romantic stuff from going on. However when JuJu initially sat down, (see the video) she sat next to the Washington Commanders quarterback. Some people have said that they are cousins, but that has not been confirmed. Can't two high profile athletes just talk during a game? After their blowout win, the USC star guard joined Jayden, his mother, and the rest of the Lady Trojans team to watch Miss. State and California play their opening round game.
This past weekend Harmoni Turner led Harvard to its first March Madness birth in 18 years, but her impact goes far beyond the basketball court. Harmoni was a 5 star recruit coming out of high school, but chose to attend Harvard over opportunities to play basketball at a number of top ranked powerhouses across the country. Although the No. 10 seed Crimson fell against the No. 7 seed Michigan State, 64-50 on Friday, she has overcome a number of challenges prior to her father, Rocky Turner (Rock-T) gaining full custody of Harmoni and her sister. Here's more on this Instagram post.

George Foreman grew up a troubled youth in a tough neighborhood of Houston, and rose to become an Olympic gold medalist and two-time heavyweight champion of the world. But boxer George Foreman found even greater success selling his eponymous grills. In this “Sunday Morning” profile that aired May 5, 2005, Foreman talked with correspondent Harold Dow about his match against Muhammad Ali in “The Rumble in the Jungle”; leaving boxing to become an ordained minister; and his return to the ring and becoming, at 45, the oldest heavyweight champ ever. Foreman died Friday, March 21, 2025, at age 76.

The situation between Jess Hilarious and Loren Lorosa has been bubbling behind the scenes for quite awhile. There has been a lot of chatter on the internet surrounding a clip of comedian Corey Holcomb who said that Loren happens to be more talented and better on the job than Jess. We happen to agree. How many countless times has Jess gone on the air and said that she can't pronounce someone's name during one of her segments. It's called show prep. It's embarrassing. Her job is to know how to pronounce names. ...unless she's more comfortable playing the stereotypical "let's keep it real" hood chick. Radio listeners deserve better.
From IG: Baltimore Media Personality April Watts -"I think this is produced reality for entertainment purposes to keep buzz around the show. Having been in radio for over 2 decades, corporate would NEVER allow this to take place if it wasn’t controlled."
From IG: Philly media personality MrHollywoodDJ -"Jess just got there. She act like she running the show… she gonna get a wake up call when she realize producers last wayyyyyy longer than talent… not that she’s all that talented."
Does she not see that radio talent is being cut all over the place? Or does she not care. She needs to step it up.
Former high school teammates Julian Reese and Derik Queen lead the Maryland Terrapins in the NCAA March Madness Tournament. They bare affectionately know as NOT the FAB FIVE, but the CRAB FIVE. Reese, Baltimore and Basketball sound familiar? Julian is the brother of WNBA star Angel Reese.
And NO! Derik Queen did not travel. He took 2 steps after the gather and shot the ball. STOP listening to the internet...

Joe "Butterball" Tamburro himself might question his selection without including the legendary Philadelphia radio personality Georgie Woods. Tamburro, a South Philly native, idolized Georgie Woods, who not only worked as a radio "dee-jay" but also served as a talk show host for WDAS and WHAT. Georgie Woods wore many hats in his career, including that of an entrepreneur, civil rights leader, and even a one-time mayoral candidate.
This isn't meant to diminish Tamburro's contributions, as he hosted and eventually became the Program Director/Operations Manager at WDAS. Butterball, or simply "Butter" as he came to be known, left his mark on the station's daily operations, and many of his hires continue to run the station successfully to this day. WDAS-FM owes much of its success to Butter. It's safe to say WDAS dominates the airwaves because of the legacy imprint left there by Joe Tamburro. The station consistently ranks near or at the top in the Philly radio ratings as the most listened to radio station in the Philadelphia market regardless of format.
In 1982, Butterball was entering his 19th year at the station. In this special alumni broadcast Tamburro pays tribute to the greats that came before him at the sister AM station 1480 WDAS AM.
In essence, the Radio Hall of Fame missed a significant mark by not including Georgie Woods in their Legends roster years earlier. However, it's worth noting that Doug "Jocko" Henderson, another Philadelphia radio legend, earned his place in the Hall just two years ago.
Another significant miss is the Radio Hall of Fame's omission of Dyana Williams and Louise Williams Bishop in the class of 2023.
We can't be critical of Butterball's imitation of Frankie Crocker. A rap he used in the early 70's on 1480 WDAS-AM. It worked! His interpretation of Crocker's rap was pretty cool for a man of his pigmentation. Butter had soul!
Besides it was Tamburro, as we have heard, that brought the bail money to the police station for the many protestors during the civil rights era in the 60's and 70's. Those protests were led by Georgie Woods.
The Radio Hall of Fame announces 12 new Legends inductees into the Radio Hall of Fame for 2023, recognizing the talents and efforts of on-air personalities, programmers and operators who contributed with greatness to the radio industry and have since passed away.
The following 12 radio legends take their place in the Radio Hall of Fame immediately:

Each of the following 2023 Legends take their place in the Radio Hall of Fame immediately.
