The highly anticipated return of the Husband and Wife Soul Duo to the music scene with a cover of the classic Frankie Beverly and Maze tune. The full project is set for an early September 2025 release.
HEARD TODAY: Programmers know listeners tune in to a station to hear familiar songs... but unless Bobby Womack 'If You Think You're Lonely Now' test really well.... why are they still playing that in 2025? It was released 44 years ago (1981) Demo 25-54? (The oldest demo was 10 years old.)
Terrell "Lucky" John, the voice of numerous radio ads across the United States, including Top Dog Law, was featured in a Black History Month segment (???) on WSOC-TV in Charlotte, NC. We guess it works because he's been doing this ads for years on radio stations featuring Black listeners. Interesting enough there are Top Dog Law commercials on Pop Top 40 stations, but Terrell John doesn't voice them. Wonder why?

Leon Harris has been on leave from the station since anchoring a newscast in December (see above) where he had trouble speaking. In 2022 Harris was sentenced to jail time and probation after his arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in a car crash in suburban Washington, D.C.
The episode begins with the hosts responding to reactions from fans and Doja Cat herself to a conversation in last week's episode.
Doja Cat's teases her upcoming album, Vie. She can rap, but she ain't Hip Hop. Where's the lie?
