Mason Back on the Air "In the Afternoon" on WCHB Detroit

In October Radio One made a few format changes at their radio stations in Detroit that resulted in a new Gospel format on 102.7 FM and moving Hip Hop to the new Hot 107.5. As a result veteran Detroit radio personality John Mason and the music of WGPR went by the wayside. At the time Radio One said they would explore other options for Mason. >WCHB’s Mildred Gaddis loses TV show "Meet the Candidates": Allegations of Fraud

>“Steve, you use the word ‘fraudulent’ about this,” Gaddis said, chiding him. “You know where that word came from?” Wilson replied, “From the Federal Communications Commission. It perpetuates a fraud on the viewer when they are not told that these people have paid to be on the program.” Mildred Gaddis of Detroit’s AM 1200 WCHB, has been cut loose from her weekend TV show on Channel 38 WADL.
