New York City Radio Wars Between Hot 97 and Power 105.1

A group of “broadcasters” calling themselves Hip Hop Politics have created a YouTube video on the topic of the battle between Hot 97 (WQHT) and Power 105.1 (WWPR) for ratings in New York City. (Nice suits and production by the way…) They do use some **adult** language in the piece while discussing the debate. >A U.S. House Committee puts PPM and Arbitron on the Hot Seat

> Has PPM affected urban radio ratings and the jobs of former radio personalities like Toshamakia? The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform (who even knew there was such a committee) is calling in Arbitron as a chief witness as it seeks to examine the decline in ratings being experienced by minority radio stations.
