Radio One Replaces Tom Joyner with Russ Parr, and Shakes Up D.C. Morning Drive

In a move that suggests preparing for life after Tom Joyner retires; The TJMS is moving to heritage AM radio station 1450 WOL in Washington, D.C. Russ Parr @RussParrShow is replacing him on Majic 102.3 (WMMJ) for morning drive. Meanwhile The FAM afternoon show on 92Q (WERQ) with Lil Mo and DJ Quicksilva will leave the Baltimore station and take over mornings on 93.3 WKYS. It all goes down on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Ladawn Black has moved over to Urban AC station Magic 95.9 from hip hop station 92Q in Baltimore. Ladawn is not only an on-air personality, but also author and relationship expert that has appeared on numerous nationally syndicated TV talk shows. Other programming changes at the Radio One Baltimore cluster stations have not been announced. We will update. Ladawn takes over middays starting Monday, December, 2nd. Radio Personality Julian Nieh Adds Baltimore and Tulsa

Julian Nieh known on the radio as “Julian on the Radio” (clever) is doing afternoons in Phoenix on 104.7 Kiss FM. Now he is headed east but remains in Arizona. ‘Julian on the Radio’ has added listeners from stations in Baltimore and Tulsa. He is doing nights on Baltimore’s Z104.3 and he just added 92.1 The Beat in Tulsa.
